Block trade
A large trade negotiated away from the continuous book and printed to the public tape as a single transaction.
Kalshi flags block trades on its public tape, and the flag is a first-class input to the score this site puts on each print. A print is scored against the rest of that market's recent tape: it starts from a base, adds up to forty points for where its size sits in the distribution of recent prints in the same market, adds fifteen if it is a block, and adds or subtracts up to ten depending on whether it rides a one-sided run of same-side aggressors. The result is clamped to a 1-99 range.
A block earns its bonus because of what arranging one implies. The size was too large for the continuous book to absorb without moving the price badly, and a counterparty was found deliberately rather than by accident. That is a different act from clicking a market order.
What it can never tell you is who. Kalshi publishes no per-user data, so a print score describes the print and not the person behind it, and two prints from the same unknown trader are scored independently of each other. It is flow, and this site labels it flow. It is not a track record and cannot become one.
