About WhaleTracks

Prediction-market analytics for Polymarket and Kalshi, operated by WhaleTracks LLC.

What WhaleTracks is

WhaleTracks is a real-time analytics platform for prediction markets. It reads the public record of two exchanges — Polymarket and Kalshi — and turns it into tools for people who trade event contracts: a contract that pays one dollar if a stated outcome happens and nothing if it does not.

Prediction markets are unusually transparent. Polymarket settles on a public blockchain, so any wallet's positions, entry prices and settled results can be read by anyone who knows where to look. Kalshi publishes a live trade tape and full order books. The raw material is genuinely open, which is why so many trackers exist.

Transparency is not the same as usable information, and that gap is the reason this product exists. A profit leaderboard ranks bankroll and luck as readily as skill. A tape carrying thousands of prints an hour is not a signal until something separates the informative ones. Two venues quoting the same event at different prices is only an opportunity after fees, executable quotes and resolution rules have been checked — and usually it is not one. WhaleTracks does that work continuously and shows its reasoning, including where the reasoning runs out.

What WhaleTracks is not

This matters more here than in most categories, so it is stated plainly rather than buried in the terms. WhaleTracks is not an exchange, broker, dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, financial institution, payment custodian, sportsbook, casino, or gambling operator. Specifically, WhaleTracks does not:

  • Accept, route, place, or execute trades or orders on any exchange;
  • Hold your funds for trading, settlement, or payouts, or pay any proceeds;
  • Submit orders to any third-party platform on your behalf;
  • Provide personalised investment, trading, financial, legal, or tax advice;
  • Guarantee prices, spreads, liquidity, resolutions, results, or returns.

Links to a market open the third-party exchange. Anything you buy, you buy yourself, on that exchange, under that exchange's terms and in your own name. Every decision made using information here is yours. The full agreement is in the Terms of Service.

Who operates WhaleTracks

WhaleTracks is operated by WhaleTracks LLC, a California limited liability company, at whaletracks.com. Support, billing and legal enquiries all go to one address: whaletracks123@gmail.com. How your data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

WhaleTracks is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Polymarket, Kalshi, Manifold, or any other exchange or data provider. Their names and trademarks belong to them and are used here only to identify the markets being described.

Where the data comes from

Everything WhaleTracks shows is built from public, read-only sources. It holds no exchange credentials, connects to no private account, and cannot see anything an exchange has not already published.

  • Polymarket.The official public APIs plus on-chain data: the leaderboard endpoint for a wallet's official profit, the positions and closed-positions endpoints for open books and settled records, the market catalog for what is listed, and the central limit order book for the executable quotes any lock has to be priced from.
  • Kalshi. The public trading API: the market and event catalog, per-market order books, and the public trade tape with its taker-side and block-trade flags.
  • Open-Meteo. Free public weather forecasts, used by the Weather Edge tool and matched to the specific station each Kalshi temperature series settles against rather than to the city — for a coastal pair those two differ by enough degrees to flip a bucket.
  • Manifold. Its open API feeds the market browser for discovery only. Manifold is a play-money venue and is labelled as such everywhere it appears; it is not real-money signal.

What each venue actually lets anyone see

The two exchanges publish fundamentally different things, and that asymmetry shapes the whole product. It is worth understanding before you judge any prediction-market tool, including this one.

On Polymarket, positions settle on-chain, so wallets are readable. A track record can be reconstructed and independently verified — by us, and by you, from the profile link on every row. Wallet tracking, the leaderboards, the fresh-wallet screen and the fade board are all Polymarket-only for this reason.

On Kalshi, there is no public per-user data of any kind. Every print on the tape is anonymous. So there are no Kalshi wallets on any leaderboard here, and there never will be. What Kalshi supports is anonymous aggregate flow: how unusual a print's size was for its market, whether it was a negotiated block, and whether it rides a one-sided run of aggressive takers. That is real information, and it is flow rather than a person. It is labelled that way on every surface, and it can never accumulate into a track record.

How the Sharp Score works

The Sharp Score is a 1–99 rating that answers one question: how much of a wallet's record looks like repeatable skill rather than luck or size. It blends settled profit through a saturating curve, so scale counts but size alone cannot buy a high score; return on capital, which carries the heaviest weight and puts a disciplined small bankroll level with a whale; and hit rate against the prices actually paid, because winning sixty percent of entries around 45¢ is skill while winning eighty percent at 90¢ is paying for favourites.

Wallets with too little settled history are penalised rather than excluded, and boards scoped to a week or a month re-rank on that window's results, so a record that has stopped working drifts down. The known limits are published rather than hidden — maker-shaped wallets are not yet filtered automatically, and hit-rate enrichment covers the top of each board rather than every row. The full write-up, including what is deliberately excluded, is on the methodology page. The vocabulary it uses is defined in the glossary.

What a membership contains

Twenty-one tools in four groups. The list below is generated from the product's own tool registry, so it cannot describe something that is not shipping.

  • Track. Follow specific money: ranked wallets, their live trades, their open books, and a practice account to rehearse in. (Live Sharp Feed, Sharp Leaderboard, Portfolio Tracker, Watchlist, Paper Trading, Forward Test)
  • Signals. Read what the flow is saying: where tracked capital agrees, which wallets look unusual, and what moved. (Sharp Consensus, Insider Radar, Fade Board, Market Movers, Fresh Markets, Rising Wallets, Alerts)
  • Trade. Work on price and structure: search every market, and scan for cross-venue gaps and single-venue mispricing. (Market Browser, Arbitrage Scanner, Overround Scanner, Market Analyzer, Weather Edge)
  • Plan. Decide size and timing: fee-aware sizing, what resolves when, and a written summary of the session. (Bankroll & Kelly, Event Calendar, Sharp Report)

Each one has a full write-up in the tool guides. Four limits are worth stating here rather than letting you discover them, because they are the ones competitors tend to describe generously:

  • Alerts are browser notifications raised by an open tab. There is no push server, no mobile push, no email, and no chat relays of any kind.
  • Watchlist holds wallets by address. There is no market-watching path.
  • Fade Board is a screen of high-volume wallets that are net down over the selected window. An inverse backtest of that idea tested negative, so it ships as a screen and not as an edge, and the page itself says so.
  • Forward Test needs stored snapshots and a cohort at least a day old before it can show anything, because it marks published signals forward rather than backtesting them.

What it costs

Membership is $49.99/mo, one plan, full access, cancel anytime. There is no free tier and no free trial. Current terms are always on the pricing page, which is what governs at checkout.

A good deal of the site is open to everyone and always will be: this page, the glossary, the tool guides, the strategy write-ups, the methodology, the FAQ, the competitor comparisons, and the legal pages. The 21 tools themselves require an active membership, because they read live data continuously and that has a real cost.

Other projects called WhaleTracks

The name is not unique to this company. It is also used by unrelated projects — among them an open-source research package for finding whale calls in seismometer recordings, and social accounts under similar handles. WhaleTracks LLC has no connection to any of them, and none of them have any connection to this product.

Contact and support

Email whaletracks123@gmail.com for anything — support, billing, a bug, a data correction, press, or a legal notice. Corrections are genuinely welcome: if a number on this site disagrees with the exchange it came from, that is a defect and we want to know.
